"Hot Topics/How to discuss your opinion"

 10/5: This Saturday we had such great discussions about Obama Care and some local news, that we didn't get time to present "a little bit about me" to the class.  I would very much like to keep that idea alive as we continue together the remaining weeks at school. 

The assignment is : Speaking involves motivation. We need to think about what motivates us to speak to one another.  So I have identified 4 hot topics we will use to get to know each others opinions - and focus on some polite discussion points.  

Write below your response to one of these 'hot topics'.  We will discuss your ideas in class:

 Women should quit their job after they get married. 

 Love is more important than money.  

 It is better to be married than single. 

 Writing by hand is better than writing by computer.

    I thnk that being married is much better than single. I like to hang out with my friends but they are almost all married now. Now I feel like a middle person when we go out on weekend.
